Incorporation of organic waste valorization measures in local management.

Pre-professional internship carried out by Paloma Farina, a graduate in Environmental Sciences, in the Resource Efficiency area of Asociación Sustentar in conjunction with the Facultad de Agronomía de la Facultad de Buenos Aires. Within this framework, recommendations were generated from the survey of experiences and feasibility analysis on practices of Integral Management of the Organic Fraction of Urban Solid Waste, and on specific management practices for the implementation of valorization treatments of this fraction, such as composting and vermiculture, anaerobic biodigestion and commercial insect rearing, to be incorporated by municipalities in the Latin American region.
