Responsible production and Consumption for sustainable development

The course aimed to train people and institutions with concrete tools and methodologies to facilitate the creation of networks and strengthen projects and actions committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, focusing on SDG 12 on responsible production and consumption. The mission of this SDG is to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. Sustainable consumption and production consists in promoting the efficient use of resources and energy, the friendly environmental infrastructure constructions, to improve access to basic services and the creation of green, fairly paid jobs with good working conditions. All of this translates into a better quality of life for everyone and also helps to achieve general development plans that can lower economic, environmental and social costs, increase competitiveness and reduce poverty.
