COP25 Side Event: The role of the circular economy in achieving and increasing the ambition of NDCs

We organized the Side Event at COP25 (December, 2019 -Madrid), where representatives from different sectors shared experiences and discussed the importance of Circular Economy strategies to design and implement efficient and low-emission production systems and increase the ambition of NDC commitments. Panelists included representatives from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation; the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety; the Secretariat for Climate Change and Sustainable Development Argentina, GIZ and the IDB.
