Module: Promotion of employability

The first component of the project was the promotion of employability. For this purpose, activities were carried out to train the neighbors of San Miguel in habitat-related trades so that they can better perform the work involved in the construction and repair of their own homes, improving the quality of their homes and their immediate habitat. Additionally, it was aimed at enabling the trainees to carry out such tasks as a self-managed job that contributes to the domestic economy. Some of the courses included were: training courses in trades oriented to habitat and housing (plumbing and sanitary installations, installation of ceramics and other coatings, construction and masonry), training and professionalization courses in the textile and accessories sector, training courses and training in the gastronomic sector.
